This is a five-generation ancestry of my great-grandparents John Stewart and Anna May (Blanton) Morris of Amelia County, Virginia that will make it easier to determine how we are related to various subjects of my blog posts.

The orange shaded ancestors indicate further cousin marriages. Mary Ann Smith and Elizabeth Smith were sisters [daughters of John and Susanna (Watson) Smith] making my 2x great-grandparents William Edward Blanton and Mary Thomas Webster third cousins. Lucy A. Gills and James Gills were both children of John and Elizabeth (———-) Gills making my 3x great-grandparents Thomas Edward Webster and Mary Allen Gills second cousins.
